In addition to publishing his research in peer-reviewed journals and other publications, Dr. Schillinger’s clinical vignettes and patient narratives have been published in JAMA and Intima.
His story “The Disability Blues” was featured in A Piece of My Mind, a collection of the greatest physician essays from the last 25 years. “The Quixotic Pursuit of Quality” was featured in Intima, A Journal of Narrative Medicine.
He is currently working on a memoir about the realities of working in a public hospital in the midst of a number of epidemics.
